Amigos 003 finished!!

We are very happy to announce that Amigos 003, Prospects by Abby Grenon, is now available to order! A formally trained photographer with a less formal approach to photography, Abby's focus tends to fall on the places and objects that make up the everyday. The images in Prospects are landscapes, both natural and artificial, that leave the viewer in anticipation of what lies ahead. Similar to Abby's photographs, the half-size zine reflects the intimate nature of her chosen medium. Prospects is 28 full-color pages, stapled and hand-numbered. You can purchase a copy of Prospects here. XO

"Smoke Bath is a collection of photographs and art work loosely based on the theme of camping/ nature/ exploring. The Fresh Air Fund is an independent, not-for-profit agency that provides free summer vacations to New York City children from low-income communities. The goal of smoke bath is to showcase the work of artists that are inspired by nature and raise money for freshair.org in the process." - Peter Sutherland

Go click around Smoke Bath. There are some great photos hidden in between all that internet code. Photos that might remind you of some camping days. Stuff like this and this, oh and maybe these stills from Old Joy.

Amigos 003 (Almost)

The finishing touches are being put on Amigos 003, and this publication is going to come from Abby Grenon. Abby, a native of New Bedford, MA, lives in Los Angeles now and spends a good amount of time photographing, well, stuff. Stuff that amounts to the odds and ends that make up this weird, weird world. Her book should be done soon but don't worry we'll keep you updated as soon as it's done. In between now and then, Abby's blogging, like everyday, so go check it out and sit tight. I also heard Amigos 004 might be right around the corner too, no promises though.
